Ekdom's Funky Music Trip is the collective title for all kinds of cool jazzy and funky tracks, mixed together by Gerard Ekdom – a well-known radio DJ (at stations such as bij 3FM, NPO Radio 2, Radio 10, and soon on Radio Veronica) and TV presenter. New discoveries, old forgotten soul, greasy funk, nu-soul, acid jazz or ‘just’ retro classics: he spins it, as long as it’s funky! Last year marked a special anniversary, as it was the tenth time Gerard spun his records on the roof of Ahoy.
