Spanish bassist Vincen García is renowned for his excellent technique. Born into a musical household (his mother was a singer, his father a trumpeter), he grew up touring with his parents and picked up the bass because his school band lacked a bass player. García taught himself to play and quickly discovered his passion and talent. He recorded three albums with his band Funkiwis with which he performed all around Spain and played in other bands and orchestras, but also grew into a sought-after session player. Unable to play live during the pandemic, he found a new musical outlet in his Instagram account, where he posted videos daily and gathered over 400,000 followers. García released his debut album, Ventura, in 2023. It turned out to be an even more special year when he was asked by guitarist Cory Wong to join his band for a European tour.
