Andrew Moreno is a guitarist and composer from Venezuela, where he delved into the jazz scene in Caracas from an early age. He played all around the country with different groups, among which the Simón Bolívar Big Band Jazz, a student orchestra which is part of the Simón Bolivar Conservatory. He formed his own trio with musicians from the Dutch free impro jazz scene. This year, they won the coveted Erasmus Prize in Rotterdam.
