Shug La Sheedah is ‘Your Feelgood DJ’, according to her own words. Rashida Tauwnaar, her real name, started spinning records in 2009, after which her love for music has grown even more. With a whole palette full of genres, ranging from hip-hop tot electronic beats and from Caribbean tot Surinam sounds, she is a sought-after DJ in clubs, at festivals and at cultural events. She opened up for artists such as Grand Master Flash and Diana Ross. In addition, she passes on the art of spinning to a new generation through workshops and seminars.
