Peter Beets (1971) has been at the top of his game for years, both as a soloist and accompanist, including for the legendary singer Rita Reys. He is a master at continuing to surprise even those listeners with acutely-trained ears. Beets is famous for realizing projects where he connects jazz and classical music, among those are From Bach to Blues and Chopin Meets The Blues, which both received a positive reception across many venues. There’s already plenty of interest too for his latest album Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov And All That Jazz!. It's not just music from those two classical legends that Beets played at the Morning Star Studio in Philadelphia in 2023; he also found touchpoints in works by composers such as Borodin, Rimsky-Korsakov, Scriabin, and Prokofiev. Beets will take to the stage with his Peter Beets Trio, which includes Dutch bassist Frans van Geest (1968) and renowned American drummer Gregory Hutchinson (1970).
