Saxophonist Candy Dulfer earned international fame for her collaborations with Prince, Van Morrison and Dave Stewart of Eurythmics, among others. With the latter, she scored a global hit with the song Lily Was Here. In addition, her saxophone work can be heard on major international releases. In 2022, she released her latest album, We Never Stop. It is an appropriate title for a musician who relentlessly continues to seek and pave her own way in the world of jazz, funk and soul. At the festival, Dulfer will be joined by Jonathan Butler. Currently residing in California, the South African guitarist and social activist grew up in the world of apartheid and broke through worldwide at the end of the eighties with the song Lies. Last year, Butler released his latest album Ubuntu, which includes collaborations with Marcus Miller, Stevie Wonder and Keb’ Mo’.
