La Reunión is a salsa collective founded and directed by viola player Daniela Rivera. The ensemble consists of seven musicians from different corners of the globe, each bringing their own musical flavour to the mix. United by their love for Afro-Cuban rhythms, they found their musical home in the lively music scene of Rotterdam. This is a salsa band with a twist: instead of traditional horns, it features the viola and flute, seamlessly blending them with the rhythm section.
