Lavish is an improvising trio formed by Sol Jang, Maria Isolina Cozzani, and Kim Kamilla Jäger. This project emerged from the urge to create musical structures twining around a central theme. Sound-based improvisation, jazz, and repetitive patterns are woven together in a chamber music environment that can sound small, fragile, and at times brutal and roaring. Composing and improvising are equally part of their material.
