Initiated in 2010 out of love for the second-line streetjazz from New Orleans, Suck Da Head is a French brass band that takes inspiration from the repertoire of acts like Rebirth Brass Band, Youngblood Brass Band and Treme Brass Band. Thanks to the impetus of new members they started professionalizing and playing more regularly from 2017 onwards. Now they create a wall of sound with which they entertain on street corners and at festivals, either on stage or marching through the crowds. In Rotterdam they will do both. Between original compositions and covers, the spirit of New Orleans is always present as the 14 musicians present their own musical mix of jazz with funk and a dash of hip-hop. With their contagious joy, brassy riffs and intoxicating rhythms, we dare you to resist their call to dance!
