The young guitar virtuoso Maya Delilah is set for her festival debut this summer. Delilah spent her formative years growing up in north London. Following in the footsteps of her sister, she had guitar lessons as a child, and instantly and compulsively started studying the instrument. Inspired by artists such as Prince, Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin and John Mayer, Delilah started writing her own songs as a teenager. She was admitted to the prestigious BRIT School, which has brought forth such celebrities as Adele and Amy Winehouse. Delilah self-released the EP Oh Boy and single Moonflower in 2020. This was followed in 2021 by the EP It's Not Me, It's You, and she is now one of the artists signed to the legendary Blue Note Records. Delilah’s infectious blend of pop and soul attracts many thousands of listeners every month. Her mission is to show young girls that females can also become guitar heroes.
