Ekdom's Funky Music Trip is the collective title for all kinds of cool jazzy and funky tracks, mixed together by Gerard Ekdom – a well-known radio DJ (he hosts his own morningshow at Radio 10 station, among others) and TV presenter. New discoveries, old forgotten soul, greasy funk, nu-soul, acid jazz or ‘just’ retro classics: he spins it, as long as it’s funky! This year’s party will be extra festive to celebrate a special anniversary, as Gerard will play his tracks on the roof of Ahoy for the tenth time!
