Almost two decades ago Alicia Keys took the world by storm with her debut album Songs In A Minor. The piano prodigy impressed with her powerful songs, strong performance, and beautiful soul voice. For her first album she won no fewer than five Grammys, with ten more to come in the next years. After her first big successes, Keys also built up an acting career, as well as moving towards producing. In addition, she has become a committed activist for women’s empowerment. But the music remained. After performing at the festival in 2004 and 2008, she was due to score a hattrick at the 2020 edition; her concert was supposed to be part of a world tour. The pandemic put a stop to that, although Keys showed enormous productivity during Covid times. She released no fewer than two albums; 2020’s Alicia and 2021’s Keys.
