Rotterdam DJ Beau Zwart makes complex music accessible and crosses borders between genres. He had an early introduction to music playing classical piano as a child and writing his own compositions from an early age. In his teenage years he discovered jazz and electronic music, and started performing as well as making soundtracks and doing DJ sets. In the latter, he connects different soulful genres from old vinyl records to modern tracks. Zwart also released music via national and international record labels, and held residencies at several Rotterdam clubs.
