Israeli trumpeter Avishai Cohen won the hearts of jazz lovers at a young age. He was a child prodigy who played solos in big bands from the age of ten. From Israel, he moved to Boston to study at Berklee College of Music and gained fame touring with the Mark Turner Quartet and SFJAZZ Collective, among others. Later, when he released the album Into The Silence in 2016, it was abundantly clear that we were dealing with an exceptional artist. A year after that, he raised the bar even higher with the five-star album Cross My Palm With Silver. Cohen records his albums in southern France and always works with producer Manfred Eicher of ECM records. Yonathan Avishai, Barak Mori and Ziv Ravitz join Cohen to make a true dream team. With them, Avishai Cohen Quartet, he recently released the album Naked Truth.
