As a Ghanaian boy growing up in Amsterdam, Benjamin 'Bnnyhunna' Ankomah found out as a teenager that life wasn’t always easy. This led Bnnyhunna to seek all kinds of inspiration. Music turned out to be an important source. He learned to play the guitar, keyboards, and drums at church. Bnnyhunna later turned his dedication and passion to producing songs for artists like Gaaida and Akwasi. His work didn’t go unnoticed and led to tours with, among others, José James and Arp Frique. After these adventures, Bnnyhunna decided it was time for his own solo debut album: SINTHA. In this project, he wanted to subvert the status quo to improve the "ordinary" experience of listening to music. Bnnyhunna uses different art forms such as photography, video, poetry and influences from jazz, soul, Afro and hip hop to unsettle his audience.
