Louis Cole is a songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist based in Los Angeles. Cole is also a renowned funk drummer and the founder of the hip hop electro duo Knower. The video of the song Bank Account made him famous and won him millions of fans. Cole’s funk sound is unique, as you can hear on his latest album Time. Together with comrades Thundercat and Flying Lotus, he is responsible for a musical revolution within the funk and jazz idioms. No wonder pianist Brad Mehldau joined up for the recording of Time and played on two tracks. Cole’s live act goes a step further with a truly astonishing big-band show bursting with craziness and surprises - listeners feel as if they´re the ball in a pinball machine. In Rotterdam he will perform with the renowned Metropole Orkest conducted by Jules Buckley.
