Since their years at high school in Orlando, Florida, Gabe, Dan, Nik and Ted have played together in several bands. They share a love for old-fashioned soul and funk. After some years of jamming in Nik’s barn, the quartet invented their unique sound and that was the birth of Fat Night. Their optimistic sound reminds you of Stevie Wonder at one moment, while you hear the unmistakable influence of D’Angelo a moment later. Fat Night’s soul enthralls audiences in an unforgettable and melancholy way. In 2013 the quartet released their self-titled debut album, followed by the EP Lazy Days which includes the unexpected hit song Sun Go Down. At the end of 2016 the group moved to Chicago and released the track Honest Man there with a video clip which they also produced. The catchy single Question by this promising four-member band is a prelude to the release of another album.
