It is obvious from all their work: Taj Mahal and Keb' Mo' are soulmates. The two guitarists are able to find adventure in traditional blues. In TajMo: The Taj Mahal & Keb' Mo' Band they join forces in a unique collaboration between two of the best blues men alive today. For fifty years Taj Mahal has been able to link the blues to African and Caribbean music and Keb' Mo' is undoubtedly a disciple of his style. “Just a brilliant man,” said Keb' Mo' about his musical hero. “Making this record was a really big deal for me." The other way round, Taj Mahal praises Mo' as “A hell of a guitar player”. Their collaboration and the album TajMo that they produced together were eagerly anticipated by blues enthusiasts. The eleven tracks include covers by John Mayer and The Who but are mostly beautiful new compositions.
