DJ Gerard Ekdom is a true radio ‘animal’ with a musical knowledge that is unprecendented. He received several prestigious radio awards, created a second career as a TV presenter and also plays his sets at events throughout The Netherlands. Radio, however, will always be his passion. Last year, he transferred from 3FM to NPO Radio 2, where he presents both the morning show, Ekdom In De Ochtend, as well as Ekdom’s Funky Weekend Trip on Sunday night, in which he plays his favorite soul and jazz records.
