Bam! And there was Fresku last year, again, kicking the Dutch music industry in the teeth. In his video Zo Doe Je Dat (‘This Is How You Do That’) he painted his face white: the only way to get more airplay. It is characteristic of Fresku, who not only pays attention to his music, but also to the visual aspects and he won't back down from making a statement. But it would sell the Eindhoven rapper short to just make him into a man of controversy. His flow is legendary, his lyrics highly personal, sensitive and filled with doubt. He is a storyteller in many media: videos, sketches, films and columns. Always with an ability to switch between anger and humor, insecurity and outspokenness. If he lashes out, it's always well thought out and therefore always hits the mark. At the festival, Fresku will give a special performance with many guest artists, including Sarah-Jane, Winne, and Big Boy Caprice.
