Questlove is the pseudonym of Ahmir Khalib Thompson. He is not only known as the founder and drummer of The Roots (with whom he will also perform at North Sea Jazz) plus producer, author, journalist and more; but he is considered one of the best party DJ’s around. A gig at the Brooklyn Bowl or Heidi Klum’s Halloween party, at afterparties for the Curaçao North Sea Jazz Festival or The Roots concerts, Questlove appears everywhere. This year he will make his debut as a DJ at the festival.
