The Nationaal Jeugd Jazz Orkest (NJJO) is a big band existing of 23 top talents and is made up of Dutch musicians and those living in The Netherlands, with a maximum age of 26, every two years. They will follow an intensive biennial educational course with musical coaching, workshops, tours and extraordinary (international) collaborations, in this way being stimulated in their further musical and professional future. Martin Fondse, the artistic director in 2015 and 2016, is well known as a composer, bandleader and musician on the Dutch and international music scenes.
