The Xavo Torres Trio combines piano trio patterns with adventure, while joy and compassion are continually being showed at a high level. Both as a pianist and a composer, Spanish Xavi Torres tells a unique story with much attention to detail. Now a resident of Amsterdam, he is finishing his master in jazz piano as well as a bachelor education in classical piano at the Conservatory. In March 2015 he won the Keep An Eye International Jazz Award with his trio, after having won the award for Best Soloist at the previous edition. Besides that, he was crowned Best Band of 2015 bij the Catalonian union of jazz musicians.
