The Concert Jazz Band contains exceptional big band players of the masters program at the Amsterdam Conservatory. Conductor Justin DiCioccio is chair at the Jazz Department of the Manhattan School of Music and internationally recognized as one of the foremost jazz educators of our time. Under his guidance, and with guitarist Jesse van Ruller as a soloist, the Concert Jazz Band will play the music of American composer, arranger and saxophonist Joe Henderson. Former projects included West Side Story, Porgy And Bess, and Miles Ahead, among others.
