Although he had released a Dutch-language album earlier, and had been a sought-after composer and producer for many years, singer Alain Clark only broke through with his English debut, Live It Out, in 2007. Especially the single Father & Friend, a duet with his father, became a huge hit. With his subsequent album Colorblind in 2010, the artist proceeded with his victory march; he even signed with an international label and toured in Italy and Switzerland, besides the Netherlands. Clark, who worked on his music in the US for some time, is regularly accompanied by the best American session artists on his albums, including drummers Steve Gadd and Chris ‘Daddy’ Dave, bassist Pino Palladino and keyboardist Cleo ‘Pookie’ Sample. In the mean time, Clark has made a number of albums; his fifth, Walk With Me, was released earlier this year. He will be performing for the third time at the festival.
