A unique experience: the Christian McBride Big Band has never before performed in The Netherlands, although visitors of Curaçao North Sea Jazz were already introduced to the band last year. At North Sea Jazz, the orchestra will feature a number of well-known Dutch musicians. The first album of the big band, 2011’s The Good Feeling, won McBride a Grammy nomination for Best Large Jazz Ensemble instantly.
