This panel discusses Soul of America, a documentary which chronicles R&B-singer Charles Bradley's road to the release of his debut album No Time for Dreaming. Ashley Kahn sits down with Bettye Lavette, who, because of her late breakthrough, is seen by many as soul music's best kept secret. Her album I've Got My Own Hell to Raise was received with critical acclaim in 2005, even though Lavette has been a recording artist since 1962. Also present is Dutch radio host Leo Blokhuis.
