Lovebirdsoriginated in the summer of 2012 at Rotterdam club BIRD as the first official solo night by DJ D-Rok. He started spinning at age fifteen, after having been a drummer for many years. Nowadays he DJs for Caro Emerald, is resident DJ at Wicked Jazz Sounds and Black Coffee at Amsterdam Club Up. With LOvebirds, D-Rok presents a loving mix of soul, funk, hip hop, jazz, boogie, disco and house. In short: black music at its best.
