Radio discjockey Gerard Ekdom is well-known for his varied taste and unequaled musical knowledge. Besides his radio 3FM programs Effe Ekdom, Ekstra Weekend and Ekdom In De Nacht, this self-professed radio freak has his own show on Radio 6 with Ekdoms After Dinner Trip, in which he plays his favorite soul and jazz records. With his radio shows, Gerard won several awards, among which a Golden Radio Ring and a Golden Radio Star for Best DJ.
