The Jazz departments of the conservatories of The Hague and Rotterdam are joining forces. With the Royal Conservatory & Codarts Big Band an ensemble has come to life which has succeeded in linking a broad artistic vision to a high international level. This is done in collaboration with nationally and internationally reknowned soloists. After performing at North Sea Jazz 2012 with saxophonist Rudresh Mahanthappa, this year will see a concert with Paul Acket Award winner Anat Cohen. The Royal Conservatory & Codarts Big Band is being conducted by John Ruocco.
