Jonathan Jeremiahwas born in North London as Johnnie Pepper. As a kid he dreamt of a career in music. When working security at Wembley Stadium as a teenager, he once jumped onto the stage to sing for an imaginary audience. In the spring of 2011 Jeremiah's debut album A Solitary Man was released and the dream came true. That summer he made his debut at the North Sea Jazz Festival. At that time Jeremiah was accompanied by the Metropole Orkest and demonstrated that his warm baritone voice is well equipped for crooning. Meanwhile his second album Gold Dust has been released. His lyrics are inspired by the North London borough he grew up in, but musically he is influenced by the sixties' sound of California; the sound of The Beach Boys and Phil Spector. Jeremiah will come to Rotterdam with a small ensemble of keyboard, guitar, bass and drums.
