A group of some of the best young working musicians from New York City comes together to bring an eclectic mix of pop, funk, jazz and rock with roots in Herbie Hancock, Maceo Parker, Soulive, N.E.R.D, Massive Attack. Mass Ave Project has bombarded audiences with their high energy since the summer of 2007. They gave already performed at some of the biggest world festivals such as North Sea Jazz, Usadba Jazz, Summertime Festival, Neva Delta Blues Festival, Jazz at Hermitage and in many clubs around Europe. Led by guitarist Iakov Kremenskiy, whose credits include Marcus Miller, David Sanchez, Jan Akkerman and Randy Brecker to name a few, the group has recorded their EP in 2009, and is now in progress of recording a full length album to be released in 2011. Because of the wide array of influences, Mass Ave manages to weave in and out of styles yet maintaining powerful groove and energy. As of this summer, the lovely and talented Broadway singer Andrea Dora joins them and adds a totally renewed performance flair.
