The big breakthrough for Alain Clark came with his 2007 album Live It Out. The second single, Father And Friend, a duet with his own father Dane, stormed the charts. Even renowned session drummer Steve Gadd played on the record; not bad for what many considered to be Clark's real debut. Before that he had already been a sought-after composer and producer and had had moderate success with a Dutch-language album as early as 2004. His second English-language album Colorblind, from 2010, was recorded in the Galaxy Studios in Belgium. With it, the singer continued his victory march: he is now considered one of the most popular and bestselling artists in The Netherlands. But it doesn't end here. Clark also signed an international deal and his music was released in the UK, Switzerland, Germany, Belgium and Italy, among other countries.
