Saxophonist Hans Dulfer turned seventy this year, but the years have not yet caught up with him. In terms of style, this musician from the Dutch province Noord-Holland followed in the footsteps of his idol Coleman Hawkins at an early age. He continues to amaze friends and enemies alike with his playing and innovative projects. The unconventional tenor saxophonist only truly comes to life on stage, where he proves to be a wonderful musician who dares to bare his soul and glory. In Dulfer's life, everything is relative and has no boundaries. This is expressed in his playing and that of his lineup. He has formed a band especially for his performance at the North Sea Jazz Festival with none other than trumpeter Rob van de Wouw as special guest: Dulfer 7.0 Server including Rob van de Wouw.
