Matt Dusk is a colleague and fellow countryman of crooner Michael Bublé, who might just be the biggest star of that particular genre. But Dusk's breakthrough isn't very far away, according to the people in the know. He has the voice, the looks and the attitude to become a significant interpreter. His second album, Back in Town, was recorded with a large part of Bublé's band. For his latest album, Good News, the singer listened to no fewer than 1,700 songs. "I'm a perfectionist, even a slightly neurotic one. I'm not easily satisfied." His music now has a touch of pop and European techno. This approach allows him to look beyond the boundaries of most crooners of this day and age. But Mr. Cool's vocal qualities remain unequivocal and undoubtedly he will add more depth to his repertoire in a live setting.
