The
Konrad Koselleck Big Band is an institution in Amsterdam. Every month, this orchestra leader performs with his 17-piece band in the famous club Sugar Factory. Songs from musicals, pop, cabaret, rock and jazz, the Konrad Koselleck Big Band doesn't mind what's on the program. The unconventional approach of this line-up is largely due to the way in which Koselleck himself arranges the pieces. His subtle approach is unique and his arrangements are full of humor and enthusiasm and a real feel for entertainment. Lydia van Dam, one of the best jazz vocalists in the Netherlands, is a special guest at this year's festival. The Konrad Koselleck Big Band has been together for over four years now and every year they improve and are more exuberant.
