Toshio Matsuura is a Japanese DJ who founded the United Future Organization (U.F.O.) in 1990. At the same time, Japanese clubculture was born. In the twelve years that followed, the group released five albums of their music in 32 countries. This resulted in a growing international reputation for this DJ, remixer and producer. After 2002, he left the U.F.O. but continued to work intensively as a DJ in clubs and at festivals worldwide. He built up an extensive network through his work and this led to various activities like musical productions for fashion houses and other events. Matsuura also makes CDs with remixes of the works of artists like James Brown and Earth Wind & Fire. The music of Astor Piazzolla and Gotan Project has also been a source of inspiration for him. Tezuka Atsushi is an up-and-coming designer, who is active inmany fields. Apart from his career as a graphic and productdesigner under the name of Flaneur/Form, he has also been involved in the Japanese club jazz scene, making videos for United Future Organisation and Kyoto Jazz Massive's Okino Shuya. He has been elected as one of the best Japanese video artists and his services have been called upon by film directors, fashion designers, and the famous jeans brand Levis.
