Elisabeth Kontomanou has a voice that combines all that's best in soul, blues and jazz. She uses her voice as her most important instrument and she does so with great flexibility and precision. Kontomanou is able to create an exciting swing and to give meaning to every word. The singer's ethnic background is Greek and African.She has worked with musicians and band leaders like pianistJean-Michel Pilc and guitarist Mike Stern. In 2006, she was named jazz vocalist of the year in France where she lives. Her latest album
