The Jazzdiggers, Erik van Beek and Jasper Derksen, play in Café De Engelbewaarder in Amsterdam every month. They got to know each other as collectors of old jazz LPs. Because of their enthusiasm and love for jazz they got the idea to dig through their collections and play exclusive jazz sets as deejays. The Jazzdiggers also work on the re-release of Dutch jazz classics. The first release in this series was Brilliant by the Diamond Five.
