The paths of guitarist Chuck Loeb, saxophonist Eric Marienthal, drummer Dennis Chambers, trumpeter Till Brönner, keyboardist Jim Beard and bassist Tim Lefebvre have crossed at least once and probably more. They collaborated in their own bands or those of others or had a musical confrontation in the studios. It's rare that such a group of musicians is allowed to get together as one unit. On the occasion of the 15th anniversary of The Canary Islands Jazz Festival this group of friends and colleagues was brought together as the band Reunion. It proved to be an event to be continued. To both the audience and the musicians this reunion turned out to be a true musical party featuring fusion jazz at the highest level.
