The Oklahoma-born Tuck Andress studied classical guitar at Stanford University before going to Las Vegas to audition for a show band. There he met the also classically trained Patti Cathcart from San Francisco. They've been a musical duo for 30 years now, and, in the meantime, they have been married for 25 years. To celebrate this all the duo Tuck & Patti released the album Gift of Love, a CD full of songs that give an explanation to why both their love and musical partnership has lasted for all those years. It was followed by Pure Tuck & Patti, an album full of Great American Songbook repertoire and some rock covers. Cathcart is a singer who did nothing but developing her talent through the years. Tuck Andress still is a guitarist who knows how to surprise and impress friends and enemies with his inventive, completely personal style. At this festival they'll give a sneak-preview of the tribute to Ella Fitzgerald and Joe Pass which will be released on CD later this year.
