Rednose Distrikt is a project of Aardvarck and Steven de Peven, two funky souls who are considered great talents in Amsterdam. Since they're open to everything, they don't shy away from experiments with broken-beats, techno, soul or jazz. Iller Dan Je Ouders, their first release on Kindred Spirits Records, contains next to a compilation of older work, also some new tracks. The album features singer Lady Alma and keyboardist Stefan Schmid (Zuco 103). Last year the duo went to Cuba to collaborate with local musicians.
