Saxophonist Adam Pieronczyk from Krakau is one of the musicians in the vanguard of Polish jazz. He's an imaginative musician that about ten years ago was pointed out as the best newcomer by the Polish jazz media. Pieronczyk has a warm tone, but his melodic and open playing is also praised. Each note is charged with meaning. With his trio, bassist Andrzej Swies and drummer/percussionist Krzysztof Dziedzic, he plays inspired free jazz. Busem Po Sao Paulo, an album that was released last year and was recorded in Brazil, is an extraordinary modern jazz portrait maintaining a high standard.
