Keijzer 5 is an initiative of tenor saxophonist Remco Keijzer and alto saxophonist Lars Dietrich. The quintet consists of a group extremely motivated jazz musicians searching for a contemporary jazz sound. This gang of young rebels with its own sound play energetic, post-modern jazz inspired by the contemporary New York jazz scene. The repertoire comprises original compositions and jazz standards that have been arranged as new contemporary pieces.
