Hiphop and soul are united in the music of Yerry Rellum, known as Caprice. You may know this singer, who is praised for his extraordinary high falsetto, from his leading part in the (Dutch) KPN commercial for digital TV, his performances with groups like Relax and Trackaddicts, or his work as a session vocalist. Born and raised in Amsterdam Caprice grew up with the music of Al Green, Marvin Gaye, Earth Wind & Fire, Prince and Michael Jackson. After some (inter)national tours with several bands, he has now started a solo project which was presented at the beginning of this year at the Noorderslag Festival. His warm combinations of hip-hop beats, r&b and soul are also popular abroad. Especially in France his debut CD Exception To The Rule was received very well.
