The New Birth Brass Band was founded in 1983 and mixes swing, funk samba and modern jazz in an original way with old traditional sounds. Last year this New Orleans band consisting of musicians of all generations released the new CD New Birth Family. A grandiose spectrum of musical genres is melted down to a sound that bridges the gap between old and new.
