Billy Cobham's drum talent caused an earthquake in the land of drummers at the end of the sixties and in the early seventies and the aftershocks can still be felt. In the days when he was the engine of the legendary Mahavishnu Orchestra, he recorded the classic fusion album Spectrum (1973). Together with musicians like Frank Gambale (guitar), Tom Coster (keys) and Ric Fierabracci (bass) Cobham visits The Hague with his Spectrum Band to take the repertoire of that period, completed with new material, back on stage again. Cobham combines his fabulous technique with an admirable ingeniousness and an enormous power. Because of this 'Holy Trinity' he still is the biggest role model for all fusion drummers that followed him.
