The soulful hip-hop show of the Utrecht based band Illicit is rock steady. The music is best described as hip-hop, combined with elements of funk, soul and jazz. Their influences are: The Roots, Common and D’Angelo. The line up includes rap, vocals, bass, drums, keys, guitar, percussion and a horn section. Illicit won the 'Early Edition Award' and the hip-hop finale of Het Geheim van Utrecht.
