New Cool Collective is, both as a septet and a big band, one of the most popular and best selling jazz bands in Holland. The collective was founded by alto saxophonist Benjamin Herman and their staring point was, and still is, to take jazz back to the dance floor. DJ beats, Latin jazz, easy tune and trip-hop beats provide The New Cool Collective with a unique, contemporary sound. The band also likes to be inspired by soundtracks of television series and movies.
