They were discovered by bass player and producer Hein van de Geyn, who immediately wanted to record an album with them. After years of maturing the musical co-operation between pianist Glenn Corneille, drummer Geert Roelofs and double bass player Werner Lausscher was more than ready to be captured on CD. The result was appropriately named 'Finally' - a glowing straight ahead jazz album that proved to be a great card for performances at home and abroad. NRC Handelsblad wrote: ‘In these ten songs Glenn Corneille is established as a very mature jazz pianist with a wayward dynamic. His playing is of a crisp clarity, almost to the square. Drummer Geert Roelofs closely follows his partner and is a master of subtle fillers and changing cymbals’. The duo also got aid by winning a jazz prize (Corneille was chosen best new talent in the Dutch Jazz Competition). These two Limburg natives have everything in them to become stars of the New Dutch jazz. It is understood that a new CD is on its way.
